Dyfi landowners are working with Natural Resources Wales to use natural flood mitigation to help create lag to reduce flooding of our coastal villages and towns and have received a national award for their efforts.

Increasing temperatures mean that the waters can heat up to the point that oxygen levels reduce or algae form so threatening species’ long-term survival. We are supporting efforts to increase the shading of the river through tree-planting and providing deeper areas so that there are cool spots that better support wildlife in hotter summer weather.
